The Thief’s skill of explosive arrows and time bubble are more important than the ability to fire ice arrows or multiple arrows. For example the Wizards skill to conjure more items is better than the skill to trap goblins. The game gives freedom to pick and choose skills but, some of the skills are way better than others. I found the Wizard to be most useful for utility, the Thief to be most useful in traversal and the Knight to be most useful in combat. I played in single player mode, switching between characters at will.
